How do I know if I am eligible?

If you have found a clinical trial, it is important to first check if you meet the conditions and criteria to participate. After checking your medical history with your doctor, you will know if you can participate or not.

Why participate in a clinical trial?

Clinical trials enable science to make breakthroughs that can cure diseases or improve patients' quality of life.

You will be closely monitored by a team of professionals throughout the study.  Their goals are to ensure the safety of everyone involved in the study and to make sure the study is conducted according to good clinical practices.

Following a clinical trial, patients continue to be monitored by a team of professionals to ensure patient well-being. Please be aware that all personal information will remain confidential and will be protected by medical confidentiality.

Can I participate in multiple studies at the same time?

Although no law prohibits a person from participating in more than one clinical trial at the same time, it is important to inform your principal investigator and discuss with your physician.

Do I have the right to leave a clinical trial?

You can stop participating in a clinical trial at any time. It is important to inform the principal investigator of your decision. Your refusal will not affect you or the care you receive.
